Video: WTC North Tower Steel Column Spire Turns to DUST

In her book, Where Did the Towers Go?, Dr. Judy Wood examines the available evidence, debunks both the official story of jet fuel weakening the buildings and the conspiracy theory of controlled demolition. Her research can only take us to one logical conclusion: the towers were disintegrated where they stood.

Marc Stevens: The State Does not Exist

Best quote aimed at political conservatives who complain about socialism: “If you have a problem with socialized medicine, you should also have a problem with college football.”

Self-ownership Flash Animation

I found this self-ownership flash animation floating around my hard-drive so I thought I’d upload it here for your viewing pleasure. The point of the animation is to teach you the concept of self-ownership. In this day and age, we are taught that it is necessary to have authorities over us–in other words, we need to have a boss of some kind otherwise we get out of control. Self-ownership says, however, that you don’t need a boss, you are responsible for yourself and if you do get out of control, you are responsible for the damage you cause. This is a very easy to understand concept that even children grok. However, accusations of “oversimplification” will likely be hurled this direction.

But I believe some things are simple, easy and black and white. Like self-ownership.

Video: Deregulated Roads: The Netherlands Experience

A great example of a deregulated intersection which gets about 10,000 cars per day. In a four year period prior to installment, this intersection suffered eight serious accidents. In the subsequent four years, there were no accidents. Traffic laws don’t make the roads safer and what this case shows is that they actually make the roads more dangerous.

This makes a nice follow up to my 2008 article Controlled Chaos: European Cities Do Away with Traffic Signs.

John Stossel on Global Warming…

The “other side” to the debate of whether man is causing Global Warming…and if it’s even a bad thing. According to Stossel, there are plenty of reputible scientists out there who are questioning mankind’s role in Global Warming.
