Liberal Fascism

I recommend reading “Liberal Fascism” by Jonah Goldberg. It really spells out how the modern Liberal Left is actually based on fascism, and how the Conservative Right (I’m talking true conservatives here, or rather, Classical Liberal thinking) is completely misunderstood. The people on the Left are Fascists in American clothing, and most of them don’t even realize it. They have no idea their intellectual heritage comes from the Progressive movement around the turn of the 20th century, inspired by Mussolini, Hitler and Stalin.

DownsizeDC.org: $53 trillion in unfunded liabilities

There is an ancient curse: “May you live in interesting times.” And boy are our times interesting. Take for example, the enormous lack of fiscal discipline of our Federal Government. Read what they say over at Downsizedc.org:

The Government Accountability Office estimates the future shortfall in funding at $53.3 trillion (Page 6). Other experts say the number is almost certainly higher. This means that every full-time worker owes a staggering $440,000, courtesy of government excess. Eventually, that debt must be paid, either in higher taxes, or in reduced benefits. These numbers represent a looming crisis of staggering proportions.

There is absolutely nothing that justifies these tyrannical, life- destroying laws. It is sad that a few thousand people a year die because people drive after drinking. But by creating an “issue” called “drunk driving” and creating criminals called “drunk drivers” and selling it through emotional propaganda, the general population goes mindlessly along with the song and dance. Less than 5,000 lives lost despite the laws vs. 1+ million lives ruined annually as a direct result of these laws. Think about that.

Ron Paul Breaks Into Mainstream Ideas

Although the Ron Paul Presidential Campaign failed, the Campaign for Freedom (probably why he is still in the race) has succeeded in bringing the ideas of the founding fathers back from the fringe, & making them mainstream again!! I hear something about abolishing the Fed or another idea promoted by Paul several times/week from MAINSTREAM sources!
